Registrants: Processed Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.
Requests for copies of police reports must be made in writing. Contact the Covina Police Department Records to obtain a copy of a police report. Report requests may take up to 10 working days to complete once the request has been received. We adhere to Federal and State guidelines regarding the release of arrest reports. Federal and State laws regulate the release of law enforcement data.

The Covina Police Department fee schedule below complies with Resolution No. 16-7554; adopted by the City of Covina City Council in November 2016, and the fee schedule went into effect January 2, 2017.

VEHICLE Impound
Vehicle releases may be obtained in person at the Covina Police Department between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
If your vehicle was impounded for a violation of driving with a suspended driver’s license or you have never been licensed, you may have a hearing to request your vehicle be released before the end of the 30 day time period.
The registered owner of the vehicle, a licensed driver, and fees paid to the Covina Police Department are required to release any vehicle.
