Captain Mike Robison
Captain Robison was hired as a police officer in 1996. Captain Robison attended the Rio Hondo Police Academy. Robison worked in the Patrol Division as a training officer and member of the Area D mutual aid platoon before being selected to serve as a narcotic/gang detective. He was one of the original members of the Special Response Team and was later assigned to investigate the most serious crimes as a Crimes Against Persons detective. Robison promoted to sergeant in 2012 and lieutenant in 2021 serving again in Patrol, Internal Affairs, and Investigations. Robison holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in Applied Management. He is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute. Robison enjoys spending his time off golfing, working out, spending time with his family, or waterskiing. Mike was promoted May 2025 and will oversee the Support Services Division.
